- From the home page, go to the management dashboard page.
- Management Dashboard>Management.
- From there, tap on admin.
- You can see the SSID field. Enter your new username and hit save.
How to change the password of Dlinkap.local Router?

How to Factory Reset your Dlinkap.local router?

- First, you need to locate the reset button available on your extender. You can find it on the back or bottom of your device.
- Use a paperclip or a sharp needle and hold the reset button for like 15 seconds. The moment you release your button, the power LED will blink and will get stable in few seconds only.
- Make sure that you do not turn on or off your device in this process. It may take a few seconds but you need not touch it in between.
- Now you have to unplug the extender for about 10 seconds and then plug it back and wait for another 30 seconds.
- It is now done. Your extender is now reset to its factory default settings. You can now set up your router again.
